Our booking through Hotels.com had the wrong date, and they couldn't change or cancel it. We stayed one night on 17.02.26, and the front desk helped us find a solution. Johanna was very kind and helpful. She arranged a very good price for us to stay that night, and let our friends or family use the room for free on the date we'd mistakenly booked. This hotel is comfortable and ideally located at the airport, and we especially want to thank Johanna for her help.

For an early flight, the location is hard to beat: you're already at the airport, about a two-minute walk from security, with a supermarket and snack bars nearby. The room was less appealing. The air conditioning was loud, there was no way to adjust the temperature, and it was too hot and very dry. Furniture showed plenty of wear, there wasn't proper luggage space, and the shower wasn't completely clean. It did the job for one short night, but I'd look elsewhere for a more comfortable stay.

The bed was excellent, and I got a genuinely good night's sleep despite being in an airport. The restpod felt quiet and private, and the setup was clearly designed for resting. Inside the terminal, the Comfort Hotel® Xpress Helsinki Airport Terminal restpods are very convenient, and my pod was clean, modern, and surprisingly comfortable. I enjoyed the stay and would use one again.

We only stayed because our layover was very short, and the location was convenient. The room, though, smelled a bit and wasn't clean. The bedding was too small to cover the whole mattress. It was passable for a brief stop, but not a great experience.

The rooms are tiny, though at least the beds were comfortable and there was an ensuite shower. The staff were nice enough. The hotel is small and tucked away, and the deep-pile carpet was a pain to drag big, heavy wheeled bags across. I probably wouldn't choose the Xpress again, but might try the other Comfort hotel if I needed an overnight layover.
