The place is old, but it has a bit of a cozy feel. Breakfast was superb, one of the best I’ve had at a hotel in a long time. The staff were super friendly, and I’d definitely stay again.

I guess the hotel has changed its name. It’s nice, has an airport shuttle, and there’s also a pizza place nearby.

It’s a very old hotel, but the staff are awesome. There are free buses from the airport to the hotel.

The staff were friendly and professional, and breakfast was good. Those were the bright spots. The room furniture was badly worn and outdated, and the hotel felt more run-down than any place I’ve stayed. Worse, the bedside light kept switching on and off if the headboard was touched lightly, which seemed like a wiring short. We were moved to another room after reporting it, but the same lighting problem was there. I’m no electrician, but that kind of wiring issue probably isn’t safe. The kettle was also half full when we arrived, so it seemed not to have been cleaned after the previous guests. If this had been my first stay with Scandic, I wouldn’t return to the chain. Their hotels are usually quite nice, so I can’t understand how this property carries the brand or why it wasn’t given basic room upgrades after it was bought. Two stars rather than one for the good breakfast and staff.

I booked for one night because the price was good and there was an airport shuttle. The room was small, but clean and equipped with what I needed. The worn furniture and smell of old things made it clear the hotel is run as a business. Still, the quality was OK for the price.
