Getting around was easy from here: the airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes, and the Jumbo mall is about a 10-minute walk away. It also worked well for reaching the train station. The staff locked up our luggage while we went to explore the city, which I appreciated. We were in room 529. The room was comfortable, though the shower door let water escape onto the bathroom floor. I also missed having a mini fridge for food and medicine. We had an insulated bag, and the staff offered to store our things in their fridge, but since we needed them overnight, we asked for ice instead. There’s a gendered sauna, open only from 5 PM to 10 PM. It has hooks but no lockers, so keep valuables like your phone in your room. The lobby is pretty, with a couple of microwaves for reheating snacks or leftovers, and hotel guests can borrow bikes. The on-site restaurant could accommodate my gluten-free diet. We stayed after flying into Helsinki. May 2026.

My room went four days without being cleaned. I asked at reception twice and spoke to the cleaner once. She just shrugged and said it wasn’t on her list. The reception staff were very polite, but nothing got done. I find that lack of service absolutely mind-blowing.

I paid the full adult rate for two rooms for two adults and two children, without applying for any child discount. Still, the receptionist questioned my daughter’s age even though she’s an adult, then accused me of trying to cheat to get a lower price. They also blamed me for not paying for parking, though I never intended to park there. The person at reception was very rude and unprofessional. Avoid this hotel!

The shower water came through pretty slowly, which was a letdown. Otherwise, the food was good quality and the hotel staff were very polite. It’s an excellent hotel.

The rooms were cold, and there were no slippers. Breakfast service was bad too. We’re a family group of six, and my daughter was still asleep at 8:00, so my wife asked for a takeaway box. The kitchen crew said, “YOU CANNOT TAKE OUT FOOD BECAUSE YOU ALREADY ATE.” They seemed to think we were stealing food.
