The view was excellent, and it seems like a good spot for seeing the Aurora. The owner was friendly and helped us a lot while we were there. They have skiing equipment, a sauna, and a fireplace, pretty much everything we needed. I'd come back next time I'm in Finland.

The views were exceptional, and the laavu was definitely a highlight. I visited on August 1. It looked clean, but the terraces were empty despite the bright sunny weather, and the place seemed very quiet for high season. I was thinking of staying but carried on. The outside entrance didn't feel welcoming, and it looks like some renovations are needed. I didn't use the service, so can't rate it. There's a marked 1km trail outside the hotel, though the hiking path up to it was missing a couple of signs. Maybe winter is when this place really shines.

The views were amazing, and there's plenty of nature around, including a nice route over the hill for an easy hike. Our cottage was clean and cosy. Hotel rooms are available too, but we found the triangle-shaped cottages more fun, especially the loft, which should be a great experience for kids. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was very low considering cottage cleaning was included. A lovely Finnish-style holiday spot for families, with or without children. We'll visit again.

We rented snowshoes for a walk to the nearby wilderness hut. Back from the walk, we stopped for coffee and snacks. Such a beautiful setting, with wonderful views and friendly staff. We definitely plan to return.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. You can rent snowshoes at the restaurant and head out into the snowy forest. The laavu has a great view.
