Central Sunview Hotel

It's nice, low-cost accommodation, with the main street just around the corner. The only complaint is the pricing: when we chose to add one more night, they charged more for that second night than for the first, even though the hotel was almost empty the whole time. Enjoy Fiji. Cheers.

The staff were friendly, but that's about the only good thing. The place was filthy. We booked a room for five and got one for four, then had to pay extra to get a fifth bed in another room. The bathroom was old, damp and dirty, ants were crawling on the walls, and the bathroom lights didn't work. The TV had only two channels. The air con had no remote, so it was either freezing or off. They couldn't provide an extra pillow. The neighborhood was noisy. The bathroom door could lock you in and couldn't be opened without a knife, so don't lock it. The shared kitchen was disgusting, and food went missing from the fridge. The smoke detectors had been removed. I didn't feel safe there.

The room was clean and okay. The shared toilet and shower were dirty and in bad shape.

The help was amazing, and the time I spent there was worth every moment and every bit of money I paid.
