The Remote Resort, Fiji Islands

We loved the surprise dinner settings around the property, and the food was amazing. The snorkeling excursions took us through some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen. Even without going anywhere, we could step from our villa onto the soft coral reef and enjoy stunning views. My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the Remote Resort. The staff were incredibly kind, the room was gorgeous, and the secluded location made it easy to unwind and disconnect. I can’t recommend it enough.

Snorkeling right off the pier was a highlight. The reef here is some of the best in this part of the world, and you can hop into the water whenever you like without booking or wondering whether the weather will cooperate. Each standalone villa is roomy, with lots of outdoor space, comfortable beds and bedding, and enough distance from the others for good privacy. The food is very good for such a remote place, with many ingredients coming from the resort’s garden, and they can accommodate requests. Service was friendly, helpful, and empathetic, just what you’d expect in Fiji.

We were delighted with the village visit and night snorkel, and the diving was excellent too. The dive team was fantastic, and we saw beautiful coral and fish. We’re so glad we picked Remote from among Fiji’s many resorts and would love to return. The Remote Resort is gorgeous and secluded, and the villas feel completely private. Staff were friendly and attentive, with lots of thoughtful touches that made everything easy and relaxing. Our stay was just perfect.

We spent 9 nights in an Ocean Villa for our honeymoon, and the seclusion was exactly what we wanted. Falling asleep to the ocean and forest sounds helped us switch off from our busy everyday lives. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, healthy, and closer to each other. The best snorkeling we’ve ever done, amazing food, a lovely menu of recommended experiences, and the outstanding team all made the trip. The people there feel like family now. We also loved our plunge pool, moving between it, the loungers, and the day bed with books whenever we weren’t exploring. The open-air Spa is tucked away in a private spot on the resort, and we enjoyed massages to the sound of the waves and, at times, light rain. Remote is a small, private resort in an untouched paradise. We’d recommend it to anyone wanting to truly escape and unwind. Huge thanks to the Remote team for making this the best holiday of our lives, and we’ve travelled a lot over the years.
