The food was delicious, and I especially loved the squid 🦑☺️. My room was warm and spacious, with everything I needed, and the staff were so kind and accommodating. I felt right at home during my two-week trip. One of my favourite hotels I’ve stayed in, and I’d love to return when I visit the Falklands again.

The bathtub was the main drawback for me. There’s no shower or handle to hold on to, and getting in and out felt like a challenge for an Olympia athlete. I was worried about slipping. Dinner also starts at 7 o’clock, which is nearly my bedtime. Still, the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful, as was everyone else at the hotel. The room was good, with a very comfortable bed and plenty of pillows, and breakfast and dinner were both very good. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again if I return to the Falkland Islands.

After weeks of travelling and hiking around Chile, staying here felt like a welcome bit of luxury. I especially appreciated having a bath. Everything was clean and comfortable, the food was very good, and the staff were kind and helpful. Assistant manageress Karin deserves a particular mention for cheerfully and quickly sorting out a couple of minor problems.

The restaurant was the highlight for me. There were several excellent dishes, and the Mongolian Beef stood out; the waiting staff were welcoming and attentive too, especially Manjit, who was particularly pleasant to be around. This was my second stay at Malvina House, and it was just as joyous as the first. The rooms are comfortable and the maids are really polite. I’m looking forward to coming back soon.

Really friendly staff and some great dishes. It’s a great hotel, and I’d highly recommend staying here or at least coming for a meal.
