Eysturland Lodge

Kinga made it easy to learn about local life and culture. She spent time answering our questions and talking things through, and could also guide us or share helpful tips beyond what you find in tourist guides. She’s a great cook, too. We stayed three nights in Kinga’s attic, which was spacious, spotless, cozy, and comfortable, with modern furnishings and a lovely view of the town and bay. Kinga and her husband Ivan are enthusiastic travelers, and their home has mementos from places they’ve visited. We’d definitely recommend staying there.

After a week of biking around and sleeping in a tent, it was lovely to arrive at Eysturlodge in Klacksvik. Kinga greeted me with warm food whenever I came back and was always ready with tips and guidance for exploring the Islands. She was the most service minded host I’ve ever met. Her and Ivan’s home felt warm and welcoming, had plenty of facilities, and was spotless. I’d recommend the place to anyone, anytime.

Kinga made a Faroese dinner, and the place was clean, comfortable, and in a good location. A great host. I highly recommend it.

The host wasn’t around during our stay, but everything worked fine anyway. The kitchen was generous and had everything we needed to cook, and the place felt like home from the moment we walked in.
