The location is a little outside town, but the free Torshaven buses make it easy to get to and from here. We were three friends from the UK and stayed at the Nordic Inn for two nights during a trip to the Faroes. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a sofa, table and chairs, and TV. The kitchen was well equipped, including a great free coffee machine. There was plenty of clearly labeled space in the room fridge, plus shared food basics and condiments. The showers had lots of hot water and were kept very clean. Bjorg and her partner should be proud of how well they run and maintain the place.

The view from the window is really nice, and there’s free parking on site. The kitchen is clean and convenient if you want to cook for yourself. One downside for light sleepers is that you can hear every footstep from the people upstairs, which can make it hard to sleep.

The kitchen has everything you need, and both the heating and shower’s hot water worked perfectly. Best of all were the hosts, a very friendly young couple who were happy to help and recommend places in the Faroe Islands if you asked. Recommended.
