Sarah suggested some nearby coastal towns to explore, as well as a beach where seals bask on the shore all year. After our first night at Les Pres de Mautort, we booked three more nights for the return leg so we could see more of the area. We’d been travelling towards the Charente and used the stay to break up the journey. Sarah was wonderful, welcoming, and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and clean with relaxing decor, and breakfast was an excellent continental spread. We’ve just returned from two weeks in France and will definitely come back next year. Thank you, Sarah, for making the stay so enjoyable.

A really handy place to stay for the channel tunnel, with lovely hosts who welcomed us warmly. They also made a great breakfast.
