The TV didn't work, and the toilets were damp. There was a cobweb on the ceiling, and the room and house felt cluttered with nonfunctional furniture. The decor had no taste or harmony, and there was no elegance. The night before and the night after, we stayed in places that were uniquely lovely, clean, and elegantly arranged, with lovely breakfasts.

A lovely, typically French place to stop over. The hosts were wonderful, and it was peaceful and quiet. I'd highly recommend it.

We spent peaceful nights in the fully independent upstairs suite, with its comfortable bed, romantic decor, and lovely garden view. Our hostess was incredibly welcoming, and she really knows the region, like a proper tour guide. Dinner at the communal table was generous from appetizer through dessert, cheese included. Breakfast was just as generous, with fresh orange juice too.

The garden is a real gem, and the house is just as lovely. The animals there add to the enjoyment of the stay. Inside, the colors of the furnishings, the scent of flowers, and the cleanliness make a welcoming first impression. Our hostess was pleasant and helpful, always happy to assist without being intrusive. Every little detail made the stay a real pleasure.

It's well worth the trip, and I highly recommend it. The owner even offered me a free ride to the airport since it's far away. She also served a chic French breakfast in a dining room full of pleasant memories, with thousands of carefully chosen details. This mini-hotel, set in a 200-year-old house in the middle of nature, is a real work of art. I was struck by how well the old and new come together. It leaves a gentle, relaxing impression, like a lesson from the ancestors told in soft words. A beautiful achievement.
