The pool was closed during my visit, and a rat showed up while we were eating. We’d also seen dead rats on the way to the beach, so maybe the rat problem is city-wide.

The residence is beautiful, clean, and nicely laid out. Still, we only gave it 3 stars because the owners watched us closely from the moment we arrived and made a lot of noise in the evenings. The staff at the Azura agency, though, were very friendly and helpful.

The pool was the one bright spot. The apartment was old and badly maintained, with lights that didn’t work, a broken toilet, and dirt where there should’ve been grass. The photos gave a much better impression than the place itself, and it was too expensive for what we got. We rented through the Azura agency, whose staff weren’t very friendly. The agency only opens at 2:30 PM for key pickup, and the crowds mean a huge wait. Once was enough for us. There are much better places in Cap d'Agde.
