Vacanceole - Residence Le Saint Clair

We paid 174 EUR PER NIGHT for an apartment for four, and it was wildly overpriced. The place smelled damp, and the bathroom smelled of pee. Guests are expected to wash all the dishes and clean the kitchen for the next people; we had to rewash dishes that hadn't been done properly, but there wasn't a cloth or drying rack. We got only one roll of toilet paper for the whole stay, and there was no air conditioning. Something strange on the couch made our skin itch. The views were terrible, and noise from other rooms came through easily. The apartment was otherwise clean, and the guy at the front desk was nice. I've never paid so much for a place like this. Book somewhere else!

The location was amazing, and I liked the pool, the air conditioning, the showers with good water pressure, and the fridge, which worked better than the underpowered ones in many hotels. The foam mattress was very comfortable too. At first, though, my bed wasn't made properly, and I found nonpots in the kitchen. They took a 300 eur damage deposit at the start and refunded it a few hours after checkout. They also let me drop off my bag for a few hours at the end of the stay. I'd recommend it.

Parking at the residence is limited, though there’s a large free lot about a 5-7 minute walk away. The location is great, and the room was reasonable. Good value overall, but the toilet seat is REALLY narrow.

We’ve stayed here before and enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff, and the surroundings. We’d love to come back in the spring, if coron allows. Best regards, Kirsten & Carlo Mikkelsen
