The location works well for the beach, though the main village centre is about a 30-minute walk away. That's fine by me since it's very busy there. The apartments are nice, and the grounds are landscaped well. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the gates use access codes, which made security feel good. The swimming pool could use a little more attention, but it was still good. Thanks to the staff.

The rooms and kitchen were fine, and the pool was good enough, though it wasn't always very clean later in the afternoon. But this is a noisy place, and I wouldn't choose it for a restful stay, especially with family. The complex is very close to Luna Park, a fair with a huge sound and light show from 20:30 to 02:00. Nightclubs stay open until 07:00, too, so bring earplugs if you want to sleep. There's not much to do on site, and the bar is almost always closed. You can get breakfast or order coffee, but there's otherwise nothing to do or buy. We'd asked for a poolside apartment when booking through @Belvilla, but that request wasn't passed on. @Belvilla wouldn't take responsibility, even though the general terms and conditions said otherwise, and casually sent us to TUI, which I understand isn't legally allowed. I wouldn't book through @Belvilla again. The hostess was very nice and knows about the noise, but I can see why it's not on the website. Without a guarantee of a poolside room, you may face the parking lot and the amusement park, which is at most 100m away, with all the noise and light nuisance.

The main drawback was music playing until 4am. Otherwise, the apartments were clean and had a good lock, which we hadn't had in a long time. It was a 10-minute walk to the beach, and a 10-minute drive to another beach where we could snorkel.

We stayed in the off-season, when the place wasn't fully open, which is why I rated it this way. The apartments were clean and pleasant, close to plenty of amenities and the beach, and made a good base for exploring the region.
