We stayed in room 104. It was tiny, but clean and without a bad smell. The door lock worked, the heating was fine, we each had a towel, and the bed was clean. The shower flooded, but a towel sorted it out. The only thing that bothered us was the toilet, which was so high that our feet didn’t touch the floor. This is a one-star place for a needed stop and a rest, not a holiday. If you want more amenities, look for somewhere with more stars. It’s not the sort of budget hotel you get in England, so I don’t understand why people expect to love their stay.

We arrived in the early evening in pouring rain and strong winds. The room was tiny, and wind blew in through the door. There were cigarette burns in the duvet, so I was unimpressed and asked for a refund. The receptionist said she wasn’t allowed to return the money. When we went back the next morning, reception said the manager would refund us that day. Seven days later, we’re still waiting. Avoid at all costs.

The beds were comfortable. It’s cheap, clean, basic accommodation, nothing fancy, but good enough for an overnight stay.

For an overnight stop, it’s good value, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Just don’t bring your cat, there’s no room to swing it.

The blind was broken, and there was no window security. I also found cigarette burns on the top blanket.
