La Renardière

That armchair and sofa in the photo look cozy, but they’re worn out and really uncomfortable. We rented the place for two weeks at Christmas for €1400, and it was being offered by a healthcare professional. It was cold, the bedroom blinds were awful, and the bedding seemed questionable. The spiral stairs aren’t suitable for everyone, and getting suitcases upstairs was a struggle. The reception area was badly neglected, and the owner showed no compassion, even though we’re demanding. Avoid it. There are photos in my TripAdvisor review!

The sauna was a great way to warm up after swimming in the pool, just a few steps away from the gîte in the owner's medical practice. The owner was helpful and available, and even returned the AirPod we forgot. The bedrooms were clean and spacious, each with its own bathroom and space. Downstairs, the lounge was a nice spot for all of us to play board games, and the Nintendo 64 was a bonus. We spent a weekend there with friends, and the large kitchen with its big table had what we needed to cook and clean up. I would've liked a few more pots and pans, plus a later Sunday checkout. Still, it was a perfect place to get together. Highly recommend, and see you soon!

Everything we needed was provided, and the place felt so welcoming. We had a really lovely weekend there. What more can you ask for?
