We’ve stayed a few days at the Denena hostel twice now, and we’re delighted with it. The breakfasts are generous, the room was spotless, and the nights were quiet. We were made to feel very welcome, and we’d happily come back. Thank you, Mr. Brard.

We especially enjoyed the generous breakfast and the great value for money. The cooking is delicious and home-style, and we’ll definitely return. The room was clean, well looked after, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Everyone made an effort to help us have a lovely visit, with a warm, professional welcome.

We only found this place the day before leaving, which was our one regret. The Auberge Denena was a lovely surprise for us, even though we’re pretty demanding. The ham platter was generous and very affordable, the baby squid was plentiful and cooked just right, and the ribeye was generous too. The welcome was the kind you wish you got more often in this beautiful region. If “inn” doesn’t mean much to you, go to the Auberge Denena. It brings together quality, reasonable prices, and a sincere, touching sense of authenticity that does local cooking proud.

During our motorcycle trip to Spain, we stopped for lunch at the DENENA hostel and got a very warm welcome. The homemade dishes were excellent, with delicious home-style cooking. I highly recommend it.
