The rooms are roomy and lovely, though a little dated. We also enjoyed the excellent breakfasts and the spacious pool. The countryside setting is idyllic, about an easy 20 km north of Marciac, and Christine is a force of nature who will do whatever she can to make guests comfortable. Highly recommended.

A beautiful, generous country home, set amid lovely grounds with a pool. The hosts were incredibly warm and kind, and made us feel very welcome.

Breakfast was simple, homemade, and delicious, a real treat for the price. The cottage itself is full of charm, and the large grounds are great for walks. The owners are very friendly and speak several languages.

Everything felt flexible and easy to arrange, and breakfast had plenty of variety. The hostess can prepare a delicious dinner if you ask. It’s very quiet here, with towns close by, and the setting really does feel like being out in nature.

The Gers is a great region for exploring country roads by motorcycle, with plenty of natural beauty and cultural and historical heritage to see. We planned our ride around a stay at Domaine Sainte Barthe, and it was fantastic. The estate is impressively spacious, the rooms are beautiful and large, the swimming pool is big, and the cuisine is excellent. It was wonderfully peaceful.
