The warm, special hospitality was what stayed with us most. Alain and Celine made us feel so welcome during our bike trip in the area. The whole house and our room were put together with such good taste, and both dinner and breakfast were superb. Merci beaucoup!

A cold beer after a tough day in the saddle was a very welcome start. The house is warm, the setting is beautiful, and the hosts made us feel right at home. Highly recommended. A note for cyclists using Google Maps: the route through the woods on Francin is really only for mountain bikes in summer when it's dry. Coming from the canal, if you reach Francin, turn back and take the next left onto Route de la Grave. We got lucky, Alain came out to find us after we'd gone along a muddy woodland trail.

I hadn't slept that well in five years. Les Gravets is tucked into nature and gave me such a peaceful, relaxing break. Alain and Céline are attentive but discreet, and were always around with advice, a chat about the region, or a meal when requested.

After three years away, I came back to Les Gravets, a place that had stayed with me. Away from the crowds on my Vendée beaches, I found that same calm and serenity again, and could listen to the silence. The rooms are top-notch, with Céline's lovely eye for decor, and Alain was there whenever we had a small technical problem. They're two wonderfully kind, discreet hosts who put all their love and passion into making this peaceful haven. Céline and Alain, THANK YOU! I'll be back next year.

A lovely peaceful spot surrounded by nature, and the staff are so friendly. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. It's conveniently located too, with a pool and Nordic bath that I definitely recommend trying. A very good place to stay. 🫶
