The room was simple, but comfortable enough, maybe more like 3.5 stars than 3. The location is fabulous, in a very old chateau, and apparently kings have stayed there, as did C de Gaulle. There’s a nice restaurant nearby, so it works well as a halfway stop. The owner was a delightful, helpful chap who seemed happy to do whatever was needed.
