Campagne Chastel Chambres d'hotes

Our family of three stayed at Campagne Chastel for four nights and wished we’d booked longer. The house sits in a peaceful garden just outside Aix-en-Provence, with spacious, clean rooms. Phillipe and Beatrice’s thoughtfulness and hospitality made it especially memorable. Each morning Phillipe, who used to be a chef, put out a delicious breakfast, and Beatrice shared great suggestions for things to see and places to eat. It was our first trip with our six-month-old, and we were glad we spent it here.

We’re already making plans to come back. Philippe and Beatrice are wonderful hosts, and the attention and care in every detail made our stay feel magical. The home itself is so beautiful and charming. Philippe used to be a chef, and his breakfasts made with garden fruit and fresh local ingredients were absolutely delicious. Philippe and Beatrice gave us plenty of advice about Aix and the surrounding area, so do ask them. They were thoughtful, eager to make us feel at home, and perfect hosts during our summer stay at Campagne Chastel. Philippe’s breakfasts are legendary. The house is beautifully and tastefully decorated, and it was lovely to relax by the large pool with its view over the garden, pine trees, and house.

The breakfasts were extraordinary, and this guest house was the best part of our trip. On our first visit to Provence, we fell for the charm of Campagne Chastel. The house in Aix-en-Provence is spacious and comfortable, and Philippe and Beatrice made us feel very welcome. We recommend it!
