The room had a lovely view of the inner courtyard, with its small fountain and ancient tree. It was incredibly spacious and felt like stepping back in time. The kitchen looked over the church courtyard, directly across from Musee Granet. Our visit lined up with the Cezanne centennial event at the museum, so there was plenty of daytime activity to keep us entertained in the mornings and evenings. The location was perfect, within an easy walk of shops, bakeries, and points of interest. The hotel manager was warm and welcoming and did everything to make us comfortable. Staying here made our whole Aix experience feel more special.

I stayed two nights in a twin room. There were real paintings, not reproductions, on the walls, plus a cute chair and desk. The place has vintage charm, and the staff were very friendly. It’s an easy walk to the town center. There’s no parking, so with a car you can use the Parc Mignet garage a short walk away. Breakfast is available, though I didn’t have it. Come for the charm, not modern luxury.

The location can’t be beat, and everything felt easy and smooth. There’s a dedicated spot out front for loading and unloading, and the decor is super charming. The modernist paintings add to the atmosphere, and they were made by the owner’s father. Everyone on staff was so nice and helpful. I’d forgotten my laptop charger, and they found one for me. Great value for money, too.

The antique furniture and beautiful interior gave the hotel a distinct atmosphere. All the employees were friendly and attentive, and being so close to the city center made our stay easier. Thank you Hotel Cardinal!! 🤗

My room was small, but since I was alone it suited me perfectly. I had a beautiful view of the nearby church, and the location was amazing, just a few blocks from lots of shops. I was also there while the market was on, which was a lot of fun.
