We were there for one night with our young child, and I had made a point of mentioning that at check-in. Even so, they put us in a room looking straight onto the garbage area. If nothing else was available, they should have told us before we checked in instead of leaving us to discover it after arrival. An apology later didn't make up for it. The whole stay was a huge disappointment. We wouldn't choose this hotel again or recommend it to families.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel sits right at the edge of the old town, making it easy to walk around. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast, though. It wasn't good.

We could get around on foot very easily from this hotel, and our tidy room was clean. The surprise noises from different directions were the one drawback. Breakfast had a good range, with a little of everything and decent quality. We had a good stay, and the location makes this a nice option if that's what you're after.

We chose to eat out, which we found more fun, since breakfast isn't included. The room was very comfortable, and the hotel was a pleasant surprise, close to the old town and its lovely sights. There's public parking nearby.

The reception staff were kind and very helpful, and the location is superb, but the rest of our experience was disappointing. The sheets and towels were stained, and the mattresses were dirty, bulging and sagging. The furniture needs replacing and the lighting could be better. They would change the sheets and towels if asked, but couldn't do anything about the mattresses or blankets. The shower was so cramped our elbows could hit the sides, and the controls sometimes got stuck when we tried to open them. The hotel and its staff deserve better than this. I can't see how it got ratings above 8 on Booking and TripAdvisor.
