Saint Christophe Hôtel

Everyone was so kind and sweet, which made my time in Aix even more magical. The receptionists and other staff were great. I arrived before 11, and my room was ready soon after. The shower water wasn’t hot enough for me, but they fixed it from outside right away. The room was spacious and spotless, and the service was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for more, thank you!

The room was comfortable, but the start of our brief holiday was marred when I found out on arrival that the booking had been cancelled, and I had to pay much more for a different room. I’d received an email confirming the reservation, then overlooked a later email because I thought it was more hotel information. It said the booking would be cancelled. The subject should say URGENT and BOOKING NOT CONFIRMED so customers understand. We also didn’t get the promised welcome drink, and the coffee machine, wedged into the wardrobe, was hard to use. Its water tank was awkward to remove and refill.

We had a very comfortable room, and the staff were really friendly. Everything worked well for our overnight stay. We highly recommend the hotel and would gladly stay again.

Everything else was top notch, especially the front desk staff. My one criticism is the lack of a lobby area for guests. It feels awkward having to walk through the brasserie every time to reach the hotel elevator. In my opinion, that’s a design flaw, though it wouldn’t stop me returning.
