Breakfast was excellent, with lovely fresh bread, cold meats and cheeses, plus soft-boiled eggs made fresh on request. We stayed on the top floor, which meant 59 steps and no lift, so keep that in mind if you’re not very fit. The hotel is close to the center and around a 15-minute walk from the main bus station. This was my favorite hotel of the holiday. It had oodles of character, and the staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Everything about our visit felt totally perfect, and I can honestly say it was worth every penny.

Great spot for walking around downtown, with welcoming, helpful staff and a perfect breakfast with fresh croissants. Good for a short stay. The rooms are tiny and narrow. I’d avoid the top floor, especially room 34 under the roof. Network coverage is poor, and the in-house Wi-Fi isn’t protected, with the password shown in plain text.

The front desk staff were amazing and helpful, and the hotel is perfectly placed for getting around the city. The room was fine overall, though the bathroom was small. We appreciated the extra effort they made to make our honeymoon feel a bit more special.

It’s easy to walk from here to public transport, shops, restaurants, and churches. The tourist office is nearby, with a boutique where I bought 15 ml bottles of lavender oil for six euros each. A lovely, charming hotel, with professional and efficient staff who made me feel completely looked after. I’d definitely return.
