Veronique was so attentive from the start. She kept track of our arrival and did her best to get the apartment ready early, then stayed helpful and thoughtful throughout our visit. The historic building is beautiful, with high ceilings, tasteful décor, and all the amenities provided. It felt both charming and comfortable. We were also impressed by how clean it was. The location puts you right in the heart of Aix-en-Provence, but it was surprisingly quiet. A couple of practical things to know: the bathroom is inside the bedroom, so anyone sleeping in the living room has to pass through the bedroom to use it. That could be awkward if those guests are adults rather than kids. Although the apartment sleeps up to four, four adults may not be especially comfortable. Couples and families with children seem a better fit. I’d highly recommend it for a trip to Aix-en-Provence.

We had such a memorable time at Maison Dauphine and would definitely return. It’s close to the center, shops, and restaurants, with an easy walk everywhere, but sits away from a noisy main street. We enjoyed the fresh breakfast each day, and the service was simple and easy. The one thing that could use a little attention is the cleaning, especially in the bathroom. Thanks for helping make the trip so special.

The apartment at Maison Dauphine was lovely, warm, and very clean, and the location in a beautiful part of Aix made it easy to reach restaurants and attractions. We had a wonderful stay last June. Véronique was a lovely, helpful host.

We only spent two nights here, but I could happily have stayed a month. Véronique has made this such a beautiful, peaceful guest house, and she was a wonderful host. Our first-floor room, Brazil, had a well-equipped kitchen with a Nespresso machine and clothes washer, a restful bed with quality linens, and a big shower with lots of hot water. Fresh breakfast items arrived daily. The chicest stay in Aix. Merci, Véronique!

Veronique gave us a map with useful notes and listened to what we were interested in before suggesting places to go. The location made it easy to reach the city center, and we loved staying in this traditional French "Appartement." The kitchen, living room, and bedroom were all very functional, with bread, yogurt, peach juice, butter, and cheese delivered each day. We ran into a big problem the night before check-in, and Veronique kindly let us arrive early. That isn’t something we can expect every time, but it helped us enormously. She was so hospitable. We had a wonderful experience and loved this place!
