JP and his wife Valerie made sure we were comfortable, and their attention to detail and local knowledge made the stay feel just right. The place is peaceful, yet only ten minutes from the center of Aix en Provence. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished, and breakfast was very good. The marmalade was delicious, made with oranges from JP’s mother’s garden. We definitely recommend staying here, you’ll be well looked after in a wonderful setting. We’ll be back! Jill & Peter

We had a wonderful two-night stay at The VIEW in July. Valerie & JP were thoughtful, conscientious, and so friendly, with the kind of care you’d expect from a high-end hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with understated, elegant decor. Breakfast was impeccable, and we were pleasantly surprised when Valerie & JP occasionally offered us a glass of wine. It’s quiet but very close to the old town, about five minutes from Aix center. They also suggested Chateau La Coste, which was beautiful. I’d absolutely come back soon!

We arrived earlier than planned, but our room was ready and already at a perfect temperature. JP and Valérie welcomed us with cold drinks, then we sat looking out over the inviting pool and beautiful views while they shared suggestions for our stay. On a hot summer day, that was much appreciated. Their ideas for activities and food were excellent, and Valérie even booked dinner for us. My husband and I felt thoroughly spoiled, from the lovely conversations to the delicious breakfasts we could choose ourselves. The View Aix en Provence was a highlight of our trip, and Valérie and JP did everything they could to make it memorable. We can’t wait to return. Merci beaucoup et beaucoup d'amour Valérie and JP, your generosity and hospitality will stay with us x Himani and Sufiyaan

The hosts were so kind and made us feel at home with thoughtful little gestures. They asked what we wanted for breakfast and brought it all in the morning at the time we chose. The breakfast was exceptional. The View really does have beautiful views, and the surroundings and tastefully decorated room are lovely too. We had a wonderful stay and were sorry to leave. Thank you for looking after us so well! Steve & Shanna

Valerie and JP gave us lots of useful suggestions for Aix and the surrounding area during our three-night stay. My husband and I had a wonderful time. The rooms and garden feel luxurious, with lovely attention to detail, and we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. We’d absolutely recommend it.
