ResidHotel Azuréa

We had a great stay and didn’t need a car, since the beach, shops and restaurants are close by. The apartment was spacious and spotless, with a nice lake-view balcony and all the usual conveniences, including a dishwasher and microwave. All the rooms had air con, which I think isn’t true of every apartment, so we were delighted. It was handy having reception there in case anything came up. My daughter left her favorite sweatshirt behind when we checked out. I emailed reception, and they found it right away and set it aside for my sister-in-law to collect. I was pleasantly surprised. I’d definitely recommend the place, and we’ll be back. Thank you!

The room was clean, warm and good value, and I really have no other complaint. But after several years of coming once a year, I left with a bitter impression of reception. The woman there was completely contemptuous toward me. Two years ago I gave the hotel five stars and was extremely pleased, which is why I kept returning. Lately I’d read some really bad comments and wondered what to expect. This time, the reception experience changed my impression.

The location was the only good thing. My room felt dirty no matter what I touched. Breakfast was cold and very poor, and by 10 a.m. there was nothing left. I was glad to get out of there as soon as possible.

A good place for the price, with roomy, practical rooms and a kitchen. The staff were great: I forgot my watch, and they let me know straight away so we could arrange to have my things posted. The lake view is a bit underwhelming, you can just about see it, but it’s a nice area. Parking is free around the corner or costs €8 on site.
