Revotel

It’s an unassuming hotel in an old building, but the rooms are clean and free of tobacco smells, which I appreciated. Breakfast is a hearty traditional one, and the welcoming, helpful owners give it the feel of a country inn. The location is excellent. Highly recommended.

We’d had several disappointing stays at other places nearby, so the friendly welcome here was a real relief. The hotel is almost in the city center, and our room was quiet, on the side of the building. It was simply furnished but had everything we needed, including an en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was served with care and had plenty to choose from, including pastries, dairy products, jams, and fresh fruit. The service for this category leaves nothing to be desired. A very pleasant, welcoming stay.

The service was really friendly, and I found the stay quite pleasant, though the elevator is narrow. My clothes kept smelling of cigarettes even though I don’t smoke. That was the only downside. I’d recommend the place.

A double room with a bathtub is about €60 a night, which is very good value. It’s right in the city center and not far from the train station. The little balconies are a nice extra.
