San Lazaro

The apartment was clean, with two bedrooms that connect to each other, each with a French double bed and a window. The bathroom has a large shower but no window, and there’s a toilet by the entrance. It’s a basement room, entered from outside through a small terrace and glass door. The living room and kitchen are separated by a low wall with a peninsula for dining. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, electric hob and oven, small appliances, and CDZ. There are two windows facing the street. It’s in a popular, central area near the port, 50 meters from territorial road no. 21, and 500 meters from the cathedral and Place de Gaulle.

Please look at the photos I attached. They don’t show pictures of the place, and I can see why, since otherwise nobody would go. It’s deplorable, with basic safety and hygiene problems: no smoke detector, a shower without a door or ventilation, a glass door to the outside, faulty electrical system, dampness, and more.

The city is only 500 meters away, which is one positive point, though in my opinion Ajaccio isn’t beautiful. I wouldn’t rent this place. It’s dirty, with no parking space, just a paid lot 200 meters away. If you like the favelas, you can take a free trip. The terrace isn’t a real image, you have to share it with the locals, and I won’t even get into the attendance.
