The terrace is a lovely place to sit with a drink and take in the view, though it can get windy. You order at the reception bar and bring it up by lift. There’s also luggage storage. The hotel is modest but has a good breakfast, free parking, and an indoor pool with a great view. The pool is handy in bad weather, but there’s no restroom or changing area there. It’s about a 40-minute walk to the center on mostly flat sidewalks and paths, and felt safe enough in the evening. A small, pleasant beach is 10 minutes away on foot.

Dinner and breakfast were both really good, and the restaurant staff were attentive. The hotel itself is a little dated, though you can see they’re working to keep it maintained. Everyone was kind and helpful, and we felt welcome despite the condition of the place. The pool area could use some refurbishment, especially the windows.

We enjoyed the pool and solarium terrace during our one-night stay, and the generous breakfast was very good. The hotel and its smiling staff were lovely. It’s a bit outside central Ajaccio, so you’ll need a car to get into town. That distance does mean you’re away from the traffic jams. If you’re staying around Ajaccio, I recommend it.

The rooftop solarium was nice, and the indoor pool was decent. The hotel feels up to date and is about 2 miles from the airport, with bars and restaurants roughly a mile away on a pleasant walk into town. One odd thing: there was no milk for the tea and coffee in the room, so it was black tea and coffee only. More seriously, they missed our 05.30am wake-up call. Good thing “she who dares” was awake worrying all night.

From the terrace there’s a lovely view across the city to the mountains. The hotel sits between the center and the airport, each about 3-3.5 km away. Our room was clean and the beds were good, the indoor pool was clean too, and the staff were friendly and smiling. Dinner and breakfast were both quite good.
