Aux deux lions

Breakfast was wonderfully generous, with several kinds of special bread, French toast, homemade jam, juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. In the evenings, we loved having dinner on the shaded terrace, and Dany’s cooking with local producers’ ingredients was superb. She looked after us so well that we felt right at home. The guesthouse is only a few minutes from Carcassonne, and Dany gave us a warm welcome from the start. We had a great stay with friends and would happily come back soon. I recommend it.

Back for our second visit, and Dany made us feel just as welcome as the first time. She’s such a lovely person, and the meals she cooks are delicious. They say good things come in threes, so we can’t wait to return! 😉

We had a spacious room with a furnished terrace, and Danielle welcomed my partner and me so warmly. The setting is magnificent. It’s also close to the medieval city of Carcassonne, the Cabrespine chasms, and the Limousis caves, which we visited. I highly recommend staying here.

The host was very welcoming, and our room and bathroom were spotless. We had generous breakfasts and evening meals, with delicious homemade jams.
