The proprietor was warm and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. We especially enjoyed breakfast, with jams and yogurt made by the owner and their family. Our large room had a stunning view of the cathedral, plus a private bath, kitchen, and terrace access. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I only wish we’d had more time.

It’s only a five-minute walk across the vieux pont to the heart of Albi’s charming old town, and there’s free parking five minutes away. We were warmly welcomed by Mario, who gave us great restaurant recommendations and served a wonderful breakfast on the terrace. The location was calm and quiet, with amazing terrace views and a lovely shared kitchen and dining space. Our restored and beautifully decorated room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and high-quality linen. Outstanding in every way. We hope to return soon!

My husband and I were worn out from a long road trip, so I asked Mario if we could stay for two nights. We got lucky. The view is beautiful, the place is peaceful, and the decor and linens are lovely. Mario was a wonderful host, attentive without intruding, and breakfast had delicious organic offerings. Highly recommend!

The homemade breakfast, served with a lovely view over Albi, had a personal touch. Mario also knows the best restaurants and bars to try. His B&B is clean, peaceful, and beautifully designed, with lovely views of the cathedral and the city center just a five-minute walk away. There’s free parking around the corner, also about five minutes away. A great place with a great owner.

We only spent two rainy nights here, but would happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Albi. It’s a gorgeous guesthouse with a fabulous host, in a good location just across the beautiful Pont Vieux.
