Premiere Classe Ales

We were generally happy with our stay. The rooms and the indoor foyer were clean, and staff on duty kept emptying and replacing the outside trash bins. The grounds were clean too, though the outside of the hotel looks a little worn and could use a refresh. There are two wooden picnic tables behind the building if you want to sit or eat outside. This is a Première Classe chain hotel, so I expected the usual standard setup. I'd read comments about small rooms and showers, and yes, that's true, but it isn't a first class hotel. We had two non-smoking rooms, though they seemed to smell of smoke when we entered. I'm not sure what the smell really was. Each room had a desk, a flat-screen TV, shelves and a closet, but only one hanger. The beds were either three singles or one double and one single. There was a shower and private toilet in each room, and the individual AC in every room was especially appreciated. We didn't have breakfast this time, though it looked as good as usual. A few things could be better: there weren't enough sockets, just two at the desk and one by the bedroom door. My wife and I both had phones, and couldn't charge them by the bed on both sides. There was only one nightstand, and no elevator. A big thank you to the clerk on duty that evening. They made sure everything was right and switched our rooms to make things more pleasant for us and the kids.
