L’Écrin Hotel

Simply the best.

The jacuzzi was a real treat in the cool October air after swimming in the sea. We had a wonderful stay for our first family vacation, with very comfortable accommodation and an incredible view. Our host was welcoming, too. Algajola was our favorite place, and we’ll definitely come back.

Inside, the accommodation was spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable, with easy access from the village. I’d still give it a 4, though there were several issues. A mattress had apparently been left in the street for ages, which made the arrival surroundings disappointing. The stairwell outside had no lighting, so late at night you risk tripping if you don’t use a flashlight; 80% of the parking lot lights were out as well. There was no TV in the master bedroom despite the spaces for one. We saw the manager when we arrived, then heard nothing afterward, not even a text to ask if everything was alright.

We stayed in this lovely apartment in September 2023 and were thrilled with it. Ours was on the lower floor, with no sea view, but it had a private area with pretty landscaping and plenty of places to sit. The apartment was modern, very clean, and had everything we needed. There’s also a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer that guests can use for free. The location worked really well: a five-minute walk to the beach, and we could leave the car at the property. We couldn’t hear anything from the street behind the building, and the price seemed reasonable.
