Clos des Chouettes

We ate breakfast and lunch each day at the big table outside the house. The place is a lovely base for seeing the Drôme and Vercors, with plenty of maps and information available. The grounds are spacious and a dream, and the rooms are very nice, each with its own bathroom and shower. The kitchen is well equipped, with coffee, tea, homemade jam and lovely dishes. A wonderful place to relax. We'll definitely come back. Christiane, Kornelia, and Michael

We had a great vacation despite being disappointed when we arrived. The listing gives the impression you'll have a quiet stay without neighbors, but that wasn't the case: we could hear a neighbor inside, and a tiny house run by the same owners was only 10 meters away. There were also details that seemed neglected, including cleanliness, the garden, which was meant to look like a formal French garden, and some basic seating and bedding. There were good parts too: the setting was green, quiet and well located, the rooms were spacious with private bathrooms and toilets, and the pétanque court was pleasant. Our host gave us an excellent welcome and service. I left a review on Booking after our stay, but the owners disputed it and claimed we hadn't even shown up.

There's a pool, a pétanque court and a big table, and it's a great place. By the end of June, though, the grounds were practically unmaintained.

Had a great experience here. I'd definitely recommend it!
