The food really shows how much care goes into cooking it, and everything we ate was good. Breakfast was fresh bread and croissants with butter and jam, plus juice and a hot drink; some of the pastries were still warm. The rooms are simple, but warm and very clean. Staff spoke only a little English, and I barely speak French, so we got by with gestures and a good sense of humour. It’s a lovely place with lovely people, and a beautiful setting. We came back without even considering another option. If you're here to ski, the walk from your room to the hotel entrance is longer than the walk from the entrance to the piste.

The owner and staff were friendly and ready to help, and we had a lovely stay. Food at both breakfast and dinner was good. You're close to the slopes, and there's a shop in the building where you can rent ski equipment. The rooms feel a bit dated and cramped, though that's fairly typical of this kind of ski accommodation.

The place had a cosy feel, and the service was okay. But the food didn't justify the prices. They were out of items listed on the menu, and the dessert included with the €27 menu wasn't described. It turned out to be just ice cream. We complained and got them to replace it with a dessert that was actually on the menu.
