The €22 daily special was generous, beautifully presented, and really good. At that price, that's rare these days. Even though the place was full, the very pleasant staff welcomed me with a smile and found me a seat at the high table. A lovely restaurant. I’ll be back soon, and good luck to them.

The porcini mushrooms in place of morels were a shame, and the sweetbreads were undercooked. We were also disappointed by how they were presented.

We had a really pleasant night, with brand new furnishings and a warm welcome from the hosts. The hotel and restaurant are newly opened, and both comfort and cleanliness deserve a 5/5. The hosts are so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel!

We were in the area for a wedding at a friend's house in Chaussenac and stayed at the Ally Hotel. The new team gave us a lovely welcome. Our spacious, large room had just been renovated, and the air conditioning was excellent and completely silent. Breakfast starts at 7:30 am, and the croissants were amazing. There was even limoncello before bed. A well deserved 5/5, and congratulations to the welcoming new team. Word of mouth will surely spread fast.

The restaurant was taken over in fall 2024 by a very nice couple. They make everything themselves, and the food is excellent. The service can be a little hesitant, since the owner doesn't seem to be a professional, but I'm not complaining. They started with much more work than they expected, and it takes some getting used to. The menu has original dishes like pig's trotters stuffed with sweetbreads, along with more classic choices. I've eaten there several times and highly recommend it. It's popular, so booking ahead is best, which says something about its quality.
