Camping la Pujade

We came here to unwind, and the peaceful atmosphere and lovely views made it easy. The pool was great for relaxing, and the staff were friendly. I tried a local dish at the restaurant and really enjoyed it. A lovely spot to enjoy nature.

For a mid-October stop, 24 euros felt way too expensive for two people travelling by bike with one tent. There were only four toilets and four showers, which wasn’t enough when several people arrived on the day we stayed.

We’d love to come back. The campsite is well placed for cycling along the canal into Carcassonne, and the morning fresh bread was delicious. The owners were welcoming, and the facilities were spotless. There’s a lovely look and feel to the site, with plenty of care put into it. Good value, and thanks for a lovely stay.

The rustic, rural setting is part of the charm, and the bathrooms and facilities were immaculate. The owners were so friendly and suggested places and restaurants to visit. The Midi canal was just two miles away, so we cycled more than 70 miles over two days. There’s a lovely restaurant on site, though we ate lunch out while riding the canal each day and never tried it. We’ll be back and make sure we eat there next time. It’s a beautiful part of France, and we were sad to leave.
