The dinners Donnatiene makes were delicious, and we loved having breakfast and going for walks in nature. We spent five nights and still wished we could have stayed longer. Everything about the stay was wonderful, and we’ll definitely come back.

A few days here gave us the peace and quiet that would’ve taken two weeks elsewhere. It’s a real haven, just two hours from Paris, with free-roaming animals, natural decor, and lovely food. Donatienne looks after her guests so thoughtfully and keeps the whole place in harmony. We loved everything, especially her warm hosting.

The château is beautiful, restored with so much taste and quiet elegance, and the place feels magical. Donatienne went out of her way to look after us. We arrived too late to book a meal, but she still made us a delicious omelette with tomatoes from the garden. We slept wonderfully in complete quiet, and the bedding was great too. If you’re nearby, come recharge in this peaceful spot. Everything was perfect.

We had a lovely time meeting Donatienne and Jean-Philippe, who welcomed us so warmly and kindly. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious, made with quality ingredients. We were lucky to spend two nights at Château de Transières after our wedding. The château is decorated with beautiful taste, the grounds are lush and green, and the pool is lovely on a sunny day. It felt like a truly enchanting break. We’d be happy to return for a yoga retreat or a weekend in Normandy.

Dinner was so original and absolutely delicious, and breakfast came with homemade walnut bread. We had a fantastic weekend in a fabulous house with a lovely couple hosting us. We loved it and will be back.
