We were warmly welcomed by the owner, and breakfast was generous. The hotel has plenty of character, with spacious rooms that are nicely decorated. We highly recommend it.

I keep coming back with my group because the hotel is good value. The manager is friendly and always willing to help, with useful advice about things to do and good restaurants nearby. It's also a convenient base for exploring the Bresse region and its many golf courses. I've recommended it to several friends, and they've all been very happy with their stays. Definitely worth trying.

The inner courtyard was my favorite part. The room was spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, and I felt at ease as soon as I arrived. You can sense the family's history in the building, which gives the place a special character. Carole was warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the property. She took time to tell me about its story. A rare peaceful haven in the heart of the Dombes region. I highly recommend it.

The room was very spacious and well equipped, and absolutely spotless, though it was also very dark. I think this would work well for a group, but I wouldn't stay here alone again. The person who answered the phone was very friendly when I booked. Shortly before I arrived, the owner told me I'd be the only guest and sent instructions for checking in on my own. Since the restaurant was closed and I didn't want to go out for dinner, I'd brought a picnic. I was surprised to find there was nothing for making a hot drink, not even a teaspoon. There was only a bottle of water in a small fridge by the entrance, with a few little glasses. I ate my picnic as best I could in the courtyard, where there were tables. You can hear some traffic from the D904 right outside. Breakfast was disappointing. Other than the baguette, it was all packaged food. After reading other reviews, I realized this seemed to be common practice. I should've checked the terms and conditions before booking. I don't really like self-service except at supermarkets, and would've chosen a cheaper Airbnb otherwise. I paid €132.10 for one night, including €1.10 tax, €12 for breakfast, and a €10 supplement for my two Chihuahuas. In my opinion, €109 for the room is a bit much.
