There are restaurants just a short walk away, plus a very nice friterie around the corner where you can take food away or eat in. The beach is also an easy, lovely stroll. The hotel is quiet, and the rooms are lovely, each with its own entrance. The doors in the room were very hard to lock and unlock, and parking in the car park costs €5 per night. That's where it lost a star.

Getting here by bus from Boulogne-sur-mer is easy. The cottages are clean and cosy, with good privacy, and we were given a very warm welcome.

The owner is brilliant, greeted us warmly, and speaks excellent English. Breakfast had a great range of breads, jams, fruit and more, and the rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, though there's no milk. It's a lovely B&B only place, with clean, roomy accommodation. The upstairs rooms can use the terrace.

We keep coming back because the owner is friendly and remembers us. The place is always spotlessly clean, and the accommodation is good for a reasonable price. Breakfast costs €9 separately from the room and has lots of choice. They only serve breakfast, with no afternoon or evening food, but a couple of restaurants are within a 10-minute walk.

This is my favourite place to stay. It's a lovely, quiet little hotel, and the owner is a gem who never makes you feel like anything is too much trouble. The rooms look out over the garden and each has its own newly decorated theme.
