We got a special price on booking.com and felt it was great value for money. The room was very clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It's on the outskirts of Amboise, in a green setting with free parking. Staying there beats trying to find a place in town, and it's a short drive to the chateaux. We paid an extra ten euros each for breakfast so we could eat on site instead of hunting for a cafe. It was worth it: nice bread, croissants with butter, yummy jams, and a coffee machine with cup after cup. A great start to a busy day. Stay in an oasis, not in town!

It's a charming, quiet place in green surroundings, well located for Amboise and the Loire Castles. The rooms were comfortable, but they were cold during our late-August stay. A cold front brought nights down to 12 C, with daytime temperatures barely reaching 20 C. Even with individual electric heaters, we couldn't get the rooms heated, despite asking reception and the maid. Breakfast is continental and served at the table. I missed having a buffet with options like yogurt, honey, and fresh cheese, instead of only bread, viennoiseries, and marmelade. It would also be nice to have a kettle or coffee maker in the room to warm up, since there was no bar or restaurant on site. There was no fridge for storing food either. Nice place and location, but it wasn't the five-star stay I'd hoped for.

We first planned to stay just one night, but changed our minds once we arrived and stayed a second night too. The hotel is peaceful, surrounded by a lovely garden and trees, almost like a cabin in the woods. Everyone was friendly and ready to help. Pierre at reception was especially kind, helpful, and polite. He speaks English very well and suggested several good places to visit and eat. The room was clean, with a warm European countryside feel, and the bed was comfortable. It had both a heater and A/C for different weather. Breakfast was good for €9, with a basket of different tasty breads, orange juice, and tea or coffee. What a lovely stay. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Amboise! If you're visiting this area, I recommend this hotel. The staff are so lovely and take such good care of you, it feels very warm and welcoming.

Lovely, quiet green surroundings and a pleasant boutique hotel. The people were wonderful, the parking area was spacious and good, and the pool was nice.

This place gives your soul a rest, not just your body. It was very clean and warm, with a great bed and pillows, and the hosts were amazing. We will definitely come back. It's a smart choice if you're hoping to visit several castles in the area.
