The welcome was wonderful, and we were looked after like royalty throughout. We had the six-course tasting menu, which was excellent value. The servings looked small at first, so we wondered if they would be enough, but we were completely full and couldn't even manage dessert. The wine was extraordinary, and the meal made my husband's birthday feel especially memorable. It was a refined fine dining experience with outstanding service. The only tiny thing I noticed was how quiet the dining room felt without any background music. A soft classical or gentle playlist might make the atmosphere warmer and ease that silence. Even so, we enjoyed the experience very much.

The food was on another level, with creative flavour combinations and so much care in the details. We were lucky to get a table at the last minute, and everything else was impeccable too, from the attentive but unobtrusive service to the beautiful gardens. A big thank you to the chef and team, and to the couple who cancelled their booking.

I had no idea this restaurant was here, and it turned out to be the best. Great food, quick service, and a bill that felt acceptable. It's edging into fine dining, so honestly, I'd leave the kids at home.

My wife took me here for my 50th birthday, and what a meal it was. The flavours and the care in the presentation are hard to put into words. I loved every dish they brought out. They even brought a special pudding with a candle for my birthday, a lovely extra touch that showed how attentive the staff were.

The courtyard was gorgeous and parking was easy, so I'd go back. Breakfast was awesome, while dinner was pretty exotic and expensive. Our bathroom was wonky, even by European standards.
