The location was the one bright spot in our stay at Asphodèle in May 2022. The rest was dreadful, especially the host Paul, who came across as forgetful, self-centered, and rude. There was no room cleaning during our stay, so guests had to clean for themselves. Breakfast was very basic, mostly bread, with only three kinds to choose from. Things got worse when we raised concerns with the host. His behavior deteriorated, and he showed no professional ethics. About an hour and a half before checkout, Paul asked us to put our dog in the car so the cleaning lady wouldn't have to sweep the stairs again after we left. The owners never apologized or accepted responsibility. We couldn't leave fast enough. Our worst B&B experience. Avoid this place.

We enjoyed the quiet countryside during our few days there, but the rooms are right under the roof and there's no air conditioning, which could be tough in summer. The owner made a few creepy comments to one of my two teenage daughters. It left all of us feeling uneasy, and the other couple there felt the same. We definitely won't be back.

The owners took good care of us, and we had an amazing holiday. Thanks to them!

A generous breakfast made for a lovely start to the day, and lunch or dinner can be warmed up there too. It's a quiet house with a pool and two rooms available, just a five-minute walk from the beach. The welcome was wonderful. I've been and come back with great pleasure! ☺️

We had a wonderful five-day stay. Dominique and Paul were so attentive, and the room was lovely, roomy, and practical. Paul gave us great tips for things to see locally and places to eat. Dominique's homemade jams were part of a generous breakfast. A big thank you! 👍👍
