The beds are incredibly comfortable, though light sleepers should choose a room away from the main road. Breakfast was lovely, and you can have pancakes made to order. There's also a great games room with a beautifully looked-after Bally pinball machine. Francois was warm and easy to talk to, and marked all the interesting spots in Amiens on a map for us. That gave us a couple of lovely walks across our two visits. This is a quirky, funky little boutique hotel with lots of care in the details. Highly recommended.

François made us feel so welcome during our two days in Amiens, and the house itself is magnificent. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful garden, and the indoor pool. Breakfasts were perfect. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the large family room, which worked perfectly for two adults and our children, aged 8 and 4. They were over the moon with the rabbits, chickens and rooster, cats and dog, balls, trampoline, and zip line, and there was an indoor swimming pool too. The big garden is a wonderful part of this beautiful historic house. François's guesthouse is magnificent and decorated beautifully. We felt at home right away in this peaceful oasis in the heart of Amiens. We'll definitely return!
