The location is ideal, close to the city centre, with a small car park nearby. The room is adequate, but nothing special for a four-star hotel. The reception is another matter. The hostess was really unpleasant, and this is the second time we’ve booked here and had things go wrong. We weren’t given the door code, and when she told us breakfast wasn’t included, she seemed quite pleased she wouldn’t have to prepare anything. On the phone, don’t call it a hotel or she’ll curtly correct you and say it’s a guesthouse. Then she gives the information you need with a disconcertingly casual attitude. I absolutely don’t recommend the place, either for the rooms, since you can find much better four-star hotels, or for the hostess, who seemed annoyed to have to manage the establishment.

Set in a superb renovated 19th-century mansion, the rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and tastefully furnished. Breakfast is delicious, and it’s quiet. You’re right in the heart of Amiens, a 15-minute walk from the train station. For the high quality of service, the price is very reasonable. I absolutely recommend this as one of the most beautiful places to stay in Amiens.

The owners were lovely to deal with, whether by email or phone, and the service was impeccable. Even if you don't speak French, communication is easy since the landlady speaks English and German. The house itself is charming and stylish, and our three-bedroom room was spacious and lovely.

Breakfast was missing a lot: no savory options, hot chocolate, or towels, and I had to ask for milk. When we left, nobody was there either. The room was very expensive for what we got, with plain decor and harsh lighting. There were no bath towels, just floor towels, and no cotton swabs or cleaning products. The only dishwashing liquid was built into the shower. There was no water in the room, and only tea and instant coffee, without milk. Their daughter handled our welcome while the owners were away, but couldn't answer several questions. One letdown after another.
