We only stayed a short time, but it was such a cozy, peaceful place. The rooms had tasteful furnishings and all the essentials. We even got to feed the alpacas just outside the house. The hosts were very helpful, and I’d definitely recommend it for a getaway.

Evenings bring both passing hot air balloons and the chance to feed alpacas. The apartments are unusually lovely, cozy, and tidy, and the hosts gave us a warm welcome.

We used the venue as a base for visiting nearby towns and villages, and many of France’s main attractions are roughly 20-40 minutes away in either direction. Mont-Richard, the market, and a lovely authentic patisserie are also a short drive away, with a supermarket about five minutes away. The rooms are a decent size for a reconstructed farmhouse, with a private toilet, shower, kitchen, and bedroom. There’s free, strong WiFi throughout the stay, and someone is on site if you need help. Donkeys, horses, and alpacas are nearby, and you may be able to feed them, but please ask first.

The garden and surroundings are lovely, and everything feels spacious and well cared for. The design is tasteful, with thought put into every detail. Add the charm of the montgolfières and it’s a place full of comfort and beauty. Highly recommended.
