Hotel De Champagne

The room was clean apart from blood on the bedsheets. The receptionist came to change them and gave us a free bottle of sparkling water. He seemed to be the only employee in the hotel. The room was small, as expected for one on the top floor, and had few amenities: no body moisturizer, just a shampoo and body wash combo. The location is good, and I thought it was decent value for money overall.

At the end of a 16 day Loire cycle trip, I stayed here. The first floor room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly, helpful and spoke several languages. Bike storage was easy.

After a long trip, I was able to rest well here because the hotel was so quiet. The rooms were clean and pleasant, and the staff were super friendly and helped in several ways to make my stay better than expected. Breakfast was simple, with fruit, fresh yogurt, coffee, bread, tea, cereals, eggs to cook, cheese and more. Thank you very much!

I was travelling with my bicycle, and the manager and staff were welcoming and helpful from the start. They helped me with the bike and found a safe place for it. My room was small, but very clean and quiet. It’s close to the station and the market, and the staff also helped me find a small supermarket. I’d stay here again if I wanted a room near the station in Angers that’s easy to find, with friendly, helpful staff.
