Séjours & Affaires Angers Atrium

The location in central Angers made it easy to walk to the markets, and reception was helpful. My room on the top floor was warm and quiet, with a great view. It seemed newly renovated and was very clean. No one came to service the room during my four days, though I hadn't asked and didn't really need it, so I don't have a complaint.

Getting to the tram and university was easy since they're very close. The bed was really comfortable, and the room had a window and a heater. It was roomy enough for two and included a small kitchen, with all the amenities I needed. The hotel had a car freshener smell, which seemed helpful with kitchens in every room.

There's parking available, and breakfast is offered for an extra charge. The place is comfortable and handy for the town centre, with free WiFi too. It was a good stay for a moderate price, though I missed having air conditioning.

My wife and I were frightened by a visit around one in the morning, and I don't think I'll stay here again. I heard someone in the corridor and opened the door. He was drunk and rudely gestured toward the pram while speaking to me. I don't speak French, so I tried offering my phone to translate, but he couldn't manage it. It turned out he was a cleaner from our floor, upset that garbage bags had been left outside the next room. Jokes aside, maybe keep a bottle of wine ready for the cleaner if you stay here.
